The Grand Symphony Orchestra takes to the stage to perform Carmina Burana, one of the most celebrated works by German composer Carl Orff, inspired by a collection of around 300 songs written by 12th and 13th-century clergymen and wandering students.
Beethoven's 9th Symphony features in the second part of the show, which was the last public performance of the German genius in 1824.
