Feiralegria

The FeirAlegria shows all the new trends and creations in urban handicrafts and design, besides having products and entertainment specifically for kids.

Praça da Alegria in Lisbon is better known for its lively nightlife and the excellent Hot Club than for the fair held there every fortnight. But FeirAlegria, which shows all the new trends and creations in urban handicrafts and design, besides having products and entertainment specifically for kids, can trace its roots back to the end of the 18th century and early 19th century when the Feira da Alegria was the forerunner of the Feira da Ladra, or flea market. But we are not talking about second-hand objects here, but items of fashion, sculptures, paintings, serigraphies and bijouterie. Get to know the Jardim Alfredo Keil and, if you have time, stay for a concert at the jazz club.
