Open sea - Nicolas Floc’h

Open sea brings together an extensive collection of photographs, videos and sculptural pieces by renowned French photographer Nicolas Floc’h.

For the first time in Portugal, the photographer, who takes the sea as the central theme of his work, is exploring the Tejo Estuary and the Azores in an unprecedented way.

Here, you will be able to see the large mural A Cor da Água - Rio Tejo, made up of 408 photographs of the colours of the water between Castanheira do Ribatejo and Bugio, as well as several photographs recording the underwater hot springs off the island of São Miguel.
