Visit Lisbon’s Museu das Comunicações that examines how the Portuguese have communicated with each other over the last 5 centuries.

The Foundation fulfills its cultural mission through the Museum of Portuguese Decorative Arts, the Arts and Crafts Workshops and completes its project with the schools, organizing visits and activities for different kinds of public.

It houses the most relevant public collection, from the 12th to the 19th century. Painting, sculpture, silver, gold and jewellery, decorative arts – Portuguese, European, African and Oriental.

The museum houses an unique collection in the world consisting of vehicles from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries including coaches, berlins, sedan chairs and carriages.
