BoCA - Biennial of Contemporary Arts'23
BoCA is back and will reinforce its transversal nature through an extensive programme involving a dialogue between the visual, performing, scientific and musical arts.
The ‘Invisible Present’ marks the 4th edition of BoCA.
As a reflection on the powers which prevent equality, justice and freedom, renowned and emerging artists venture to create by this standard.

Agnieszka Polska risks the first creation on stage with ‘The Talking Car’, a play about a group of people who tried to escape a speeding vehicle.
Julian Hetzel and Ntando Cele premiere ‘SPAfrica’, a show that investigates how capitalism is associated with racism.
Ana Borralho & João Galante create ‘Chat Room’, a participatory art experience in which the stage becomes a virtual chat room.
