Fairs and Markets of Príncipe Real

The Príncipe Real market is one of the most popular for handicrafts and bric-a-brac in Lisbon. It takes place on the last Saturday and Monday of each month and is the place to find unique antiques and handicrafts from various periods and provenance in the lovely and calm surroundings of the park.

On Saturday mornings there is also an organic market in Príncipe Real with producers from all around the country selling their top quality produce. It’s well worth spending the morning amongst the stalls buying freshly picked fruit or articles for the home from the last century. This is another way to discover the way Lisbon lives.
