[ November ] Great artists, filmmakers, actors, writers and intellectuals meet once again for the Lisboa Film Festival.
Movies that reflect the best of contemporary film-making are on show at LEFFEST, a festival that seeks to create bridges between cinema and other art forms.
In addition to the films in the competition, which includes this year’s productions and showcases young directors from around the world, there are five other sections with tributes and retrospectives, thematic cycles, special sessions, some national previews and the most anticipated films of the coming season.
The moving image on the screen is complemented by concerts and shows by creators whose work is related to the Seventh Art, as well as photography, painting, sculpture, drawing and screen-printing exhibitions.
