Lisboa is welcoming a new cultural and tourist hub, Os Murais de Almada Interpretation Centre at the Maritime Terminals.
This cultural space provides access to the murals by Almada Negreiros, the largest collection from the 20th century.
Here, you can find 14 mural panels, six at the Rocha do Conde de Óbidos Maritime Terminal and eight at the Alcântara Maritime Terminal.
At the latter, visitors can explore nine rooms featuring digital and interactive experiences about the construction and decoration context of the Navigation Terminals.
You can also explore the artistic legacy left by Almada Negreiros in Lisboa, as well as documentation about the Maritime Terminals, including testimonies, interviews, notes, photographs, and reproductions of works and documents.
