Discover one of the calmest viewing points (miradouros) in Lisbon. Unknown by the vast majority of visitors, it has a unique view of a part of the city that is rarely explored.
The Miradouro do Monte Agudo is one of Lisbon’s best-kept secrets. Its location between Graça and Anjos is hidden by the Dona Luísa de Gusmão secondary school. It has a fabulous view to the north and entire western part of the city. Built in the 1950s, it provides shade, peace and tranquillity for enjoyment with time. Let your eyes roam as you try to identify the various points of the city. Or take the chance to rest as you cross Rua Heliodoro Salgado towards Rua Ilha do Príncipe. The pergola provides excellent shade in summer, as well as the kiosk where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing drink. With a view of Lisbon.
