The Thailand Festival returns to Belém, next to the Thai Pavilion, and brings traditional dances, country music, Typical food, Muay Thai, Fashion Shows, several workshops, handicrafts and many activities for adults and children.

From Friday to Sunday, visit Jardim Vasco da Gama and get to know a little more about Thai culture. Enjoy a massage or try Muay Thai workshops, Fruit and Vegetable carving and attend Fashion Shows, mask painting, origami, country music concert as well as Thai traditional dances.

It will be a great weekend to have fun with the family: While some learn Muay Thai, others can just relax on the various puffs scattered around the festival and enjoy handicrafts for sale at the venue. 

While the children listen to a Thai story or have fun in the many activities promoted by the Embassy of Thailand in Lisbon, you can get to know more about the culture and travels to Thailand with the several “talks” with special guests at the site. 

Between one activity and another, don't forget to stop by the different tents and get your name inscribed on one of the different Thai fans. Before leaving go to the Restaurant area where you can taste Thai typical food.

During the event you will be able to participate in the raffle organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and in several pastimes organized by the embassy where several prizes will be drawn.

To cool off, you can drink, Thai Singha beer or soft drinks and cocktails served on site.

And to remember later, don't leave the festival without taking a selfie with one of the typical Thai landscapes as a backdrop. This will certainly be one of the festivals with the most instagrammable spaces in Portugal!
