ARMAZÉNS DO CHIADO Right in the historic heart of the capital, this shopping center holds the memory of a historic symbol of Lisbon. In this same place, at the end of the 19th century, the old “Grandes Armazéns do Chiado” were inaugurated, a classic department store of the Lisbon trade destroyed in the fire that haunted Chiado in 1988.
With a modern structure, the current Armazéns do Chiado and its building (Cultural Heritage) revive some of this past aura, making available to visitors more than 50 shops in various areas (from fashion to perfumery), 15 restaurants and a Hotel with a fantastic view.
