Super Heroes In Concert
presents epic themes and musical excellence in an immersive experience where music meets heroes - 14th September, at 9pm, Fórum Lisboa
This event goes beyond a simple show, offering an immersive experience where music meets heroes. The powerful interpretations will give the audience a deep connection with epic themes that transcend generations and have defined some of the greatest moments in cinema and television.
The culturally enriching experience of the concerts will be guaranteed by renowned conductor and composer João Gaspar.
Orquestramente Pop: Organised by Orquestramente Pop, an organisation dedicated to democratising access to music in Portugal, these concerts have brought the magic of music to communities that have historically had little or no contact with culture. Over the last few years, they have provided unique opportunities for thousands of people, especially children, by organising concerts and working hard with partners and volunteers to raise funds and offer tickets to various shows.
These concerts will be the starting point for a cycle of performances entitled ‘The Orchestra goes to’, where Orchestramente Pop musicians will go to hospitals and family shelters in celebration of ‘Golden September’, the month of awareness of paediatric cancer.
Orquestramente Pop's mission is clear: to break down barriers and democratise access to music, promoting musical education in a variety of contexts. Mickael Faustino, the creator of Orquestramente Pop, believes that music is a right that should be available to everyone, regardless of where they live or their socio-economic status. As well as being the project's mentor, Mickael acts as a teacher, conductor and artistic director, and is also the presenter of the programmes In Music and Compasso Simples, broadcast on RTP2 and Canal Q, respectively.
