Swan Lake
One of the most famous and know stories of all time, who express the story of the impossible love between a prince and a swan girl.
Born in 2017 from the dream of the famous solo dancer Victor Ishchuk of the Kiev Opera Theatre, the Kiev Ballet today represents the values of overcoming and resilience of the Ukrainian spirit.
With care and delicacy, this company of dancers goes on stage to present the most famous ballet in the world: Swan Lake - the story of an impossible love between Prince Siegfried and Odette, a young woman transformed into a swan by the sorcerer Von Rothbart.
With choreography by Marius Petipa and to the sound of Piotr Tchaikovsky's iconic melodies, love, betrayal and the triumph of good over evil come together on stage in a work that demands dexterity and high technical quality in the interpretation of the characters, as well as a high degree of drama in the performance of the main dancer.
