MAC/CCB defines itself as the great museum of modern and contemporary art in Portugal. Here, the visitor can enjoy works by artists from the most diverse cultural contexts and varied expressions.
The Centro Cultural de Belém Foundation hosts the Museum of Contemporary Art MAC/CCB.
The MAC/CCB Museum of Contemporary Art will present collections (including the Berardo Collection, the Ellipse Collection and the CACE – State Contemporary Art Collection), as well as temporary exhibitions that contribute to the historical framing of art today, producing knowledge, but also aesthetic experience in the globalized context of contemporary art.
A varied programme covering educational activities, conferences and guided tours is available to everyone visiting the museum.
