Coro Regina Coeli de Lisboa and Ensemble da Banda da Armada

This Christmas, we’ll be bringing music to Lisbon Cathedral, whose foundations date back to the 12th century. This grandiose stage demanded a concert which could live up to the surroundings.

The challenge was accepted by the Regina Coeli Choir and Banda da Armada, who will perform two breathtaking pieces: the first is “Lauda per la Nativitá del Signore”, a landmark in European sacred music, written by Otorrino Respighi, and the second is the famous “Gloria” by John Rutter.
