The time has come. A new experience....three days of much excitement!
The stage is set up in one of the city's biggest urban parks, Parque da Bela Vista (Bela Vista = beautiful view), where the festival gets the inspiration for its name – 'kalorama', which means 'beautiful view' in Greek.
MEO KALORAMA presents the first wave of artists for what promises to be a stellar lineup. Pet Shop Boys, FKA twigs, Damiano David, Jorja Smith, and Azealia Banks are joined by Father John Misty, The Flaming Lips playing Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, L’Impératrice, Róisín Murphy, Scissor Sisters, BADBADNOTGOOD, and many more.
Sustainability, innovation, inclusion and music are brought together in a festival which will try to use greener energies, promote local commerce and reuse and recycle resources.
