Portuguese designers present their new collections and trends for the next Autumn/Winter, during the Portuguese Fashion Week.
Always a in a festive and creative atmosphere Portuguese designers and brands promise to amaze their audience by the audacity and innovation of their collections, promoting Portuguese fashion of the international fashion and design scene.
Created in 1991, the ModaLisboa project has set out to be the first professional organisation for the presentation of the collections by Portuguese fashion designers.
Revealing a growing international image, every year the festival hosts tens of thousands of visitors and hundreds of journalists, both Portuguese and international.
Lisboa Fashion Week, organised in collaboration with Lisbon City Council, returns with a full programme of fashion shows, presentations, talks and events, many ofthem open to the general public.
Before the official start, the Pop-up Store of National Designers will open on 26 February at Locke de Santa Joana and will be open until 3 March.
On the 6th, MUDE will host the FAST TALKS, moderated by RuiMaria Pêgo, and the screening of the documentary series Junk, in an event created in collaboration with the Italian Embassy as part of Italian Design Day.
On the 7th,CAM will host talks between visual artists and designers, as well as the presentation of the new collection by Constança Entrudo.
Pátio daGalé will host fashion shows by established and emerging designers, including the final of the Sangue Novo competition, supported by Seaside.
Portuguese Soul by APICCAPS will make its debut at MUDE, while the art installation MODAPORTUGAL by CENIT/ANIVEC will return to Praça do Comércio, broadcasting the shows via livestream and complementing the broadcast on Lisboa Fashion Week's digital platforms.
