Monstra is back in Lisboa with hundreds of entries, ranging from feature-length through short to very short films, many having their world, European or national premiere.
MONSTRA is back with another edition filled with films to delight audiences of all ages.
This year’s highlight is the Laika: Frame X Frame exhibition, which offers a behind-the-scenes look at five iconic animated films: Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings and Mr. Link.
This immersive experience allows visitors to explore life-sized sets and engage with the creative process behind these celebrated productions.
The line-up of films includes Oscar nominees such as Beautiful Men by Nicolas Keppens, Wander to Wonder by Nina Gantz and Yuck! by Loïc Espuche.
The programme also features exclusive premieres, including Birth of Kitaro: Mystery of GeGeGe by Gō Koga and Dalia and the Red Book by David Bisbano.
