Darwin's Café offers a gastronomic experience with a fusion of Italian and Portuguese food.
Darwin’s Café benefits from its stunning location on the riverfront and combines architecture and design with a diversified menu.
The design of Darwin’s Café takes all those who enter it to the world of the British naturalist and biologist to whom the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown’s restaurant owes its name. It results from a partnership between the Foundation and the company Lanidor, and its location makes it one of the most attractive places in the city.
The furniture’s antique touch coexists with the space’s modernity, creating an original atmosphere. The windows, facing the river, draw guests into contemplation, and the menu, by chef António Runa, entices them to taste the dishes served here.
The terrace, with its spectacular view, completes the space, which has already become one of the country’s best restaurants.
