One of the most important athletic events in Lisbon, the course reaches its pinnacle with the crossing of the Bridge 25th of April.

Le marathon, d'une distance de 42 km, part de Cascais et suit la route côtière (Estrada Marginal) jusqu'à la ligne d'arrivée à la Praça do Comércio de Lisbonne.
