Festival dos Quartetos de Cordas

Chamber music will invade Gulbenkian for two days during the String Quartet Festival, which is part of the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth.

The festival features the full String Quartets created by the German composer, brought by six of today's finest quartets.

The Mettis Quartet opens the event on Saturday at 3pm, followed by the Castalian String Quartet at 6pm and the Schumann Quartet, which take the stage at 10:30pm.

On Sunday, the focus is on the Van Kuijk Quartet at 12pm, the Novus String Quartet at 3pm and the Meccore String Quartet closes the show at 6pm.

Tickets: from 15 euros, per concert; 45 euros, general pass.
