School – paintings by Natália Gromicho

Atelier Natália Gromicho presents the painting exhibition “School – paintings by Natália Gromicho”, with the inauguration taking place on the 2nd of September at 2 pm at Rua Nova da Trindade 5G, Chiado.

The interpretation of “Principezinho” is a very controversial and singular work for the artist, not only because the use of the color green is used abundantly (a color practically insistent in all of Gromicho’s painting), as it was the only painting that figuratively which he painted that year. It was created in 2018 at the Atelier in a poetry reading session while Natália painted live. It was a very intense and unique session, which resulted in the creation of several exceptional paintings. Several new pieces will be presented to visitors, including studies of works made by the artist since 1995, tiles, ceramics and a few more surprises reserved for this exhibition.

Natália Gromicho was born and lives in Lisbon and has a vast collection of works of art around the world.
